Pre-War Apartment

Classic Six

Beamed ceilings and built-in cabinetry to the fireplace wall, a panelled dining room with a concealed bar, and a white inset kitchen in honed marble.

A classic six laid out the way these apartments were meant to work — rooms that read separately but connect on axis. The beams were kept and made good; the fireplace wall was rebuilt with lit shelving carried up both sides of the mantel.

The kitchen is entirely new behind a traditional face: inset doors, a honed marble island with a waterfall return, slab backsplash and a full appliance suite set flush into the run.
